El idealismo kantiano más allá de la academia argentina: Antipositivismo, reforma y revolución (1910-1930)

Abstract

El artículo rastrea la circulación extraacadémica de Kant que se registró en las primeras décadas del siglo XX en la Argentina. Comienza por revisar la “reacción antipositivista” para precisar que junto a la impugnación al cientificismo se desplegó una polémica en el frente antipositivista entre un kantismo academicista, impulsado por Coriolano Alberini, y otro preocupado por la elevación de la cultura desde un socialismo ético que excedió las aulas y fue liderado por Alejandro Korn. Luego se analizan otros dos ámbitos de recepción de Kant: el de los anarquistas que apostaban a renovar la doctrina libertaria a partir de las innovaciones de la Revolución Rusa y el ámbito dispuesto por las distintas fracciones del movimiento político-cultural de la Reforma Universitaria.

The article traces the extra-academic circulation of Kant in Argentina in the first decades of the twentieth century. It begins by reviewing the "anti-positivist reaction" to argue that, along with the challenge to scientism, a polemic unfolded on the anti-positivist front between an academicist Kantianism, driven by Coriolano Alberini, and another concerned with the elevation of culture from an ethical socialism that went beyond the classroom and was led by Alejandro Korn. Two other areas of Kant's reception are then analysed: that of the anarchists who sought to renew the libertarian doctrine based on the innovations of the Russian Revolution, and that of the different factions of the political-cultural movement of the University Reform.
