¿Los guerrilleros no lloran? la política cultural de las emociones en la revista Evita montonera

Abstract

Este trabajo se aproxima al discurso de las emociones y los afectos en la guerrilla de Montonerosa mediados de la década de 1970. Se inscribe en el área de la historia de las emociones, y empleacomo fuente documental los veinticinco números de Evita Montonera, prensa oficial de laorganización político-militar entre 1974 y 1979. El texto plantea que la revista organizó unvariado repertorio de emociones, para difundir un modelo de conducta afín a los principios dela moral revolucionaria, en medio de la escalada represiva estatal y paraestatal. Este régimenemocional se materializó en las necrológicas de militantes caídos en combate, las cartas depresos políticos y los testimonios de familiares víctimas de la represión, que crearon la imagende un guerrillero duro pero tierno, intuitivo e intelectual, capaz de llorar y controlar sussentimientos. Se argumenta que este discurso visibilizó las emociones montoneras, y las puso almismo tiempo bajo el imperio de la razón partidaria.

This work approaches the discourse of emotions and affections in the Montoneros guerilla in the mid-1970s. It is part of the area of the history of emotions and uses as a documentary source the twenty-five issues of Evita Montonera, the official press of the political-military organization between 1974 and 1979. The text states that the magazine organized a varied repertoire of emotions, to disseminate a model of conduct related to the principles of revolutionary morality, in the midst of escalating state and parastatal repression. This emotional regime materialized in the obituaries of militants killed in combat, the letters of political prisoners and the testimonies of family members who were victims of repression, which created the image of a tough but tender guerrilla, intuitive and intellectual, capable of crying and controlling his feelings. It is argued that this discourse made the montonero's emotions visible, and at the same time placed them under the rule of partisan reason.
