Nuevas dinámicas residenciales en los asentamientos rurales del litoral sudeste pampeano

Abstract

La creciente importancia otorgada en los últimos años a las migraciones se emparenta con el giro operado en su definición desde los años setenta. Hasta esa época eran habituales los estudios de migraciones internacionales o migraciones campo-ciudad, pero progresivamente se fueron ampliando hasta abarcar un conjunto más extenso constituido por otras formas de movilidad (bi-residencia, movilidad residencial, turismo, movilidad diaria). Abordar la movilidad territorial desde la Geografía tiene como particularidad poner énfasis en el territorio, en su uso diferencial y sus transformaciones, por tanto, del conjunto de causas que acompañan la decisión de movilizarse, una posibilidad es asociarla con la búsqueda de un modo de vida natural y sano, proceso que se hace visible en los últimos veinte años. En relación con estas peculiaridades, nuestro propósito de trabajo e identificar las motivaciones y sentidos asociados a las nuevas dinámicas residenciales en el partido de General Pueyrredón, ubicado en el sudeste pampeano. La metodología se basa en el análisis cualitativo de información obtenida a través de ochenta y nueve entrevistas, realizadas a residentes de las localidades menores del Partido de General Pueyrredón entre septiembre de 2007 y febrero de 2008. Los resultados evidencian un acercamiento al espacio rural asociado con la pretensión de naturaleza y de bienestar.

The increasing relevance given to migrations during the last years matches the turn of its definition since the 70’s. Until that period, international migration or ruralurban migration studies were common, but with time they were enlarged until they comprised a larger set composed of other mobility trends (double residential, residential mobility, tourism, daily mobility). Approaching territorial mobility from Geography has the peculiarity of giving strength to the territory, to its assorted use and its transformations. Therefore, from the reasons that go along with the decision of moving, one of the possibilities is to bond it to the urge for a more natural and healthy way of living, a process that has been made evident for the last twenty years. In connection with these peculiarities, the purpose of our work is to identify the motivations and foundations associated to the new residential dynamics in General Pueyrredón District, located in the southeast of the Pampa lands. Methodology is based on the qualitative analysis of the information obtained through eighty nine interviews performed to residents of the minor cities of the General Pueyrredón District, between September 2007 and February 2008. The results are a proof of having come closer to the rural sites in association with the hunt for nature and welfare.
