¿Democracia con ‘D’ de desesperanza?

Abstract

¿El objetivo de estas páginas es arriesgar una serie de coordenadaspresentes en la década del 70 y en la década del 80 a partir de lascuales sea posible dar cuenta de las mutaciones en las racionalidades,mentalidades, en el ethos que se va configurando entreaquellos 70’s con los 80´s y las jóvenes democracias que estabanemergiendo. Es posible rastrear ese ethos tanto en el mundo de lasartes (especialmente las letras y el cine) como en el campo de lasciencias sociales, claves para reflexionar en torno a esos cambiosque se abren con la recuperación de la democracia en Argentina yque anidará rastros que nos permitan pensar nuestras democraciashoy. Para ello, en primer lugar, me detendré brevemente en el escenariode los ’60 y ’70, mojón necesario para poder avanzar haciala década siguiente donde se expondrá el clima de recuperaciónde la democracia, pero en el marco de un debate intelectual queparece mostrar esas señales de desencanto que irrumpirán violentamenteen las décadas siguientes.

ct The objective of these pages is to risk a series of coordinates present in the 70s and 80s from which it is possible to account for the mutations in rationalities, mentalities, in the ethos that is being configured among those 70’s with the 80’s and the young democracies that were emerging. It is possible to trace this ethos both in the world of the arts (especially literature and cinema) and in the field of social sciences, keys to reflecting on those changes that begin with the recovery of democracy in Argentina and that it will nest traces that allow us to think about our democracies today. To do this, first of all I will briefly stop at the scene of the ‘60s and ‘70s, a necessary landmark to be able to move forward towards the following decade where the climate of recovery of democracy will be exposed but within the framework of an intellectual debate that seems to show those signs of disenchantment that will erupt violently in the following decade.
