Un análisis feminista de la identidad restituida: Justicia hermenéutica, subversión semiótica y la experiencia de las mujeres

Abstract

El objetivo del presente trabajo consiste en abordar la cuestión de la restitución identitaria de hijes de desaparecides durante la última dictadura argentina desde una perspectiva filosófica enmarcada en una epistemología feminista. A partir de dos preguntas filosóficas, una metafísica acerca del fundamento de la identidad y una científica-epistemológica acerca de la relación existente entre identidad y genética, argumentaré que la epistemología feminista permite construir una noción de identidad que es un caso de justicia hermenéutica, en palabras de Miranda Fricker, y que supone un proceso de subversión semiótica, en términos de Diana Maffía. Esta noción de identidad, que permitirá afrontar algunas críticas que ha suscitado la vinculación entre identidad y genética, se nutrirá también de otras herramientas que provee la epistemología feminista, como la idea de que es necesario partir de la experiencia de las mujeres para obtener conocimiento menos perverso, en palabras de Sandra Harding. Esto permitirá comprender el rol de Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo respecto del hallazgo científico del índice de abuelidad.

The aim of the present paper is to address the issue of identity restitution of the children of the disappeared people during the last Argentinian dictatorship from a philosophical perspective, framed in a feminist epistemology. Starting from two philosophical questions, a metaphysical one about the foundation of identity and a scientific-epistemological one about the relationship between identity and genetics, I will argue that feminist epistemology allows us to propose a notion of identity that is a case of hermeneutical justice, in Miranda Fricker’s words, and that involves a process of semiotic subversion, in Diana Maffía’s terms. This notion of identity, which will make it possible to face some of the criticisms raised regarding the link between identity and genetics, will also be enriched by other tools provided by feminist epistemology, such as the idea that it is necessary to start from women’s experience in order to obtain less perverse knowledge, in Sandra Harding’s words. That will allow us to understand the role of Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo regarding the scientific finding of the grandparenthood index.
