Más allá del concepto: La presencia de la tradición platónica en Hölderlin. Sus proyecciones en la lectura de Jean Luc Marion

Abstract

El objetivo del presente trabajo consiste en mostrar la presencia de Platón y la tradición (neo)platónica en la obra de Friedrich Hölderlin y su proyección en la filosofía de Jean-Luc Marion. En primer lugar, mostraremos la pregnancia del (neo)platonismo en Hölderlin por vía de la traducción de Marsilio Ficino del corpus platónico y su transmisión en el contexto del Stift de Tübingen. En segundo lugar, concentrándonos en su Hyperion y otros ensayos filosóficos, mostraremos cómo la poesía de Hölderlin confluye conceptualmente con Platón y el (neo)platonismo. En tercer lugar, abordaremos la interpretación de este tema elaborada por Jean-Luc Marion. En el marco de su obra temprana L’Idole et la distance (1977), Marion recupera los elementos platónicos de la poética de Hölderlin, destacando el lugar del concepto de belleza (Schönheit) para pensar ciertos fenómenos que exceden el paradigma de los objetos, y por ende, todo lenguaje predicativo, definiendo así a toda poesía como un lenguaje no-predicativo, más allá del primado (metafísico) del concepto.

The aim of this paper is to show the presence of Plato and the (neo)platonic tradition in the work of Friedrich Hölderlin and his projection in Jean-Luc´s Marion philosophy. Firstly, we will show the impact of (neo)platonism in Hölderlin via Marsilio Ficino’s translation of the Platonic corpus and its transmission in the context of the Tübingen Stift. Secondly, concentrating on his Hyperion and other philosophical essays, we will show how Hölderlin’s poetry converges conceptually with Plato and (neo)platonism. Thirdly, we will address the interpretation of this theme elaborated by Jean-Luc Marion. Within the framework of her early work L’Idole et la distance (1977), Marion recovers the Platonic elements of Hölderlin’s poetics, highlighting the place of the concept of beauty (Schönheit) in order to think about certain phenomena that exceed the paradigm of objects, and therefore, all predicative language, thus defining all poetry as a non-predicative language, beyond the (metaphysical) primacy of the concept.
