Resumen

The fourth instar larva and pupa of Forcipomyia (Phytohelea) bromelicola (Lutz) are redescribed and illustrated, and compared with immatures of  F. (P.) musae Clastrier and Delecolle and F. (P.) dominicana de Meillon and Wirth. Both life stages were photographed using scanning electron microscopy and phase-contrast light microscopy. The immatures were collected from bromeliads in Florida, USA.
