La huelga radial de 1946 en la ciudad de Buenos Aires. Protesta artística, solidaridad gremial e identificación obrera.

Abstract

Este trabajo se interesa por analizar la huelga radial acaecida en septiembre de 1946 quecomenzó como un cese de actividades de la Asociación del Profesorado Orquestal en todas lasemisoras de la ciudad de Buenos Aires y derivó en la unión de la gran mayoría de las y lostrabajadores nucleados en la Federación de Artistas del Espectáculo Público a la misma. Sesostiene que los posicionamientos políticos y gremiales de las y los trabajadores de radioiluminados por el conflicto de 1946 se enmarcan en un proceso de asociacionismo de más largoaliento, cuya experiencia previa determinó algunas de las actuaciones en la huelga. Es por elloque se indaga en la forma que tomó la protesta en diálogo con los conflictos previos y cómo fueinformada en las diferentes revistas. Por último, se procurará recuperar las intervenciones delEstado a través de la Secretaría de Trabajo y Previsión y los acercamientos que tantotrabajadores como empresarios del medio tuvieron con ella. Para llevar adelante este trabajo seabordará las revistas radiales que cubrieron el conflicto como Antena, Radiolandia y Sintonía yalgunos recortes de la prensa de masas como Crítica, La Prensa y La Nación. Por otro lado, seconsultará la revista Máscara, perteneciente a la Asociación Argentina de Actores.

This work analizes the radio strike that occurred in September of 1946, which began as the halt of activities by the Association of Orchestral Teachers in all broadcasting stations in the city of Buenos Aires, and led the majority of workers grouped in the Federation of Public Entertainment Artists to adhere to it. It is argued that the political and union positions of the radio workers, enlightened by the 1946 conflict, are part of a longer-term process of associationism, whose previous experience determined some of the actions in the strike. Because of this, the article explores the shape the protest took in dialogue with previous conflicts and how it was reported in different magazines. Finally, efforts will be made to recover the interventions of the State through the Ministry of Labor and Welfare and the approaches that both workers and businessmen in the sector had with it. To carry out this work, the radio magazines that covered the conflict such as Antena, Radiolandia and Sintonía and some clippings from the mass press such as Crítica, La Prensa and La Nación will be addressed. On the other hand, the magazine Máscara, belonging to the Argentine Association of Actors, will be consulted.
