Para una epistemología materialista: filosofía y arte en Adorno y Deleuze

Abstract

En este artículo se entrecruzan los pensamientos filosóficos y estéticos de Theodor Adorno y Gilles Deleuze para pensar los fundamentos de una epistemología materialista. Se trata de ir más allá del esquema sujeto-objeto y, criticando el tercer momento de la dialéctica hegeliana, proponer una epistemología que permita no violentar el objeto subsumiéndola bajo la potencia identificante de lo Uno, y así, al mismo tiempo, salvar ese resto que Adorno llamó no-idéntico y Deleuze diferencia. Para este cometido, en ambos pensadores (y esto no es casual), el arte juega un papel fundamental.

This article intertwines philosophical and aesthetic thoughts of Theodor Adorno and Gilles Deleuze to think about the foundations of a materialistic epistemology. This goes beyond the subject-object schema by criticizing the third moment of the Hegelian dialectic, proposing an epistemology that allows not to violate the object subsumed under the power of the One, and thus at the same time, save the rest. The rest Adorno called it the non-identical and Deleuze the difference. For this purpose, in both thinkers (and this is not casual), art plays a significant role.
