Heidegger y la dimensión fronteriza entre el útil y el objeto: Un estudio acerca del empleo del término "cosa usual" [Zeugding], en el contexto de Ser y Tiempo

Abstract

Esta exposición surge como un intento de explicitación de un enigmático término, que, a pesar de ser utilizado una única vez en el desarrollo de Ser y Tiempo, resulta cargado de relevancia ontológica: se trata del concepto Zeugding, o “cosa usual”. Este término parece unificar dos planos aparentemente incompatibles: el perfil utilitario o “a la mano” del ente (en tanto artefacto) y el aspecto objetivo o “ante los ojos” (el ente en tanto cosa), cada uno de ellos, descubierto por una particular mirada de acceso al mundo, respectivamente, la Circunspección, y la Teoría. A fin de desocultar el sentido de aquella peculiar noción, esta investigación se dedicará a estudiar los mencionados modos elementales de la comprensión. Nuestro objetivo será el de explorar la noción fronteriza de “cosa usual”, en el marco de los principios de Ser y Tiempo para explicitar su contenido, y finalmente proponer una interpretación de dicho concepto como una forma incipiente de la objetivación, inherente a la visión tematizante de la ciencia, que, sin embargo, ocurre sin necesidad de producir un cambio en el inmediato modo de acceso al mundo.

This exposition emerges as an attempt of explicitation of an enigmatic term, which, in spite of being used only one time within the pages of Being and Time, turns to be loaded with ontological relevance: It is the concept of Zeugding, or “Thing of Use”. This term seems to unify two apparently incompatible planes: the utilitary aspect of beings (beings as artifacts), and the objective aspect (beings as things), each one of them, discovered by a particular approach vision oriented at the world, respectively, Circunspection and Theory. In order to unravel the meaning of that peculiar notion, this investigation will engage in a study of the previously mentioned elemental modes of Comprehension. Our objective will be exploring the frontier-notion of the “Thing of Use” in the context of the principles of Heidegger’s Being and Time with a view to make its content explicit, and finally suggesting an interpretation of that concept as a incipient form of objectification, inherent to the thematising vision of science, which, nonetheless, occurs without the necessity of producing a change in the inmediate mode of acces to the world.
