Justicia y Violencia en la encrucijada jurídica: Pascal y Derrida como filósofos del descentramiento

Abstract

El presente artículo intenta mostrar que la influencia de Pascal en la filosofía derrideana va más allá de las breves referencias explícitas a este autor en Fuerza de Ley, y que se dirigen a un terreno aún más profundo que el que a primera vista podría ser advertido.Desde la lectura que Derrida realiza de §285 de los Pensamientos de Pascal, aquel que plantea la aporía entre la fuerza y la justicia -y que le permitirá postular que la nota central de lo jurídico es la aplicabilidad, en enforzamiento (enforzability)-, sostendremos que Derrida y Pascal son filósofos del descentramiento, de un descentramiento que intenta desenmascarar el reduccionismo a lo geométrico. Es en el reclamo de la irreductibilidad de las “razones del corazón”, donde encontramos una nueva cifra de lo imposible, y la exigencia derrideana de la irreductibilidad de la justicia al derecho (ámbito del cálculo y de lo posible). Es en la encrucijada de este descentramiento entre la justicia y el derecho, donde este último encuentra su principio de ruina, de contingencia y, por tanto, su finitud (allí donde el cierre significaría la totalización de una configuración finita).

This article aims to show that the influence of Pascal on Derridean Philosophy goes beyond the brief explicit references to this author in Force of law, and that they go to a still deeper ground than at first glance could be warned.
