Nota sobre el oficio del intelectual en José Luis Aranguren

Abstract

En este trabajo analizo brevemente la noción de intelectual que propone el catedrático español de ética José Luis Aranguren (1909-1996). Para tal fin, se hace un recorrido por los escritos de su obra en los cuales dedica mayor atención a dicha noción. Una vez dilucidado qué entiende este filósofo por el concepto de intelectual y cuál debería ser su función, haremos una reflexión crítica que intentará ponderar hasta qué punto Aranguren encajaba o no en este modelo de intelectual.

This paper I briefly study the notion of intellectual proposed by the Spanish professor of ethic José Luis Aranguren (1909-1996). To do this, I analyze the writings of his work in which he gives greater attention to this notion. Having seen what this philosopher understands by the concept of intellectual and what his role should be, I make a critical reflection that will try to weigh to what extent Aranguren fit or not in this intellectual model.
