Resumen
Statins are a group of lipid-lowering drugs with pleiotropic effects that include, but are not limited to the inhibition of cholesterol synthesis resulting in a wide range of anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor, immunomodulatory, and anti-thrombotic properties. This study aimed to determine the impact of the prior to- or after breast surgery usage of statins on the tumor prognosis in breast cancer (BC) patients.
