Las atmósferas afectivas como dimensiones del espacio habitado

Abstract

En esta investigación fenomenológica nos proponemos caracterizar las dimensiones del espacio habitado (el mundo familiar, el mundo extraño y el espacio intersticial entre ambos) a partir de la categoría schmitziana de atmósfera como fenómeno afectivo. Esta tarea revelará la ontología de los espacios no-extensionales que constituyen un aspecto esencial de la experiencia del habitar. Nuestra hipótesis de trabajo es que es posible caracterizar las dimensiones del espacio habitado a partir de la descripción de las atmósferas afectivas que las ocupan. En particular, nos concentraremos en la descripción positiva de las atmósferas del espacio intersticial, buscando resaltar su naturaleza productiva.

In this phenomenological research we propose to characterize the dimensions of dwelling space (the familiar world, the strange world and the interstitial space between the two, developed by psychoanalytic theory) by means of the Schmitzian category of atmosphere as an affective phenomenon. This task will reveal the ontology of non-extensional spaces that constitute an essential character of the experience of dwelling. Our hypothesis is that it is possible to characterize the dimensions of the dwelling space by means of the description of the affective atmospheres that occupy them. In particular, we will focus on the positive description of the atmospheres of interstitial space, seeking to highlight its productive nature.
