Más allá de las palabras: Variaciones sobre Martha Argerich

Abstract

El artículo está centrado en la figura de la pianista Martha Argerich, tal como se despliega en Bloody Daughter (2012), el documental realizado por Stéphanie Argerich. El objetivo es indagar los límites de lo visible y de lo decible para representar el afecto conectado a la memoria musical y al archivo familiar. Las conclusiones muestran la innovación de este film respecto de la figuración del arte de la interpretación en conexión con la representación de la experiencia de la maternidad, que permite descubrir la relevancia de la música para la configuración de la memoria afectiva.

The article is focused on the figure of the pianist Martha Argerich, as it unfolds in Bloody Daughter (2012), the documentary made by Stéphanie Argerich, with the aim of investigating the limits of the visible and the speakable to represent the affection embodied in the musical memory and the family archive. The conclusions show the innovation of this film regarding the figuration of the art of interpretation in connection with the representation of the experience of motherhood, which allows us to discover the relevance of music for the configuration of affective memory.
