Recuperación democrática y guerra de Malvinas: la conmemoración y su rol en la formación militar

Abstract

La memoria colectiva, social o cultural refiere a representaciones o expresiones de un pasado que comúnmente es compartido por un grupo de personas. Son conmemoraciones colectivas o encarnadas culturalmente, que corroboran la identidad grupal pasada, presente y futura de ese grupo. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo indagar en la memoria colectiva de la guerra de Malvinas, en relación con la conmemoración y exposición como formas de transmisión e incorporación subjetiva en la formación militar de estudiantes militares. Se realizó un estudio descriptivo y comparativo, de diseño no experimental transversal, con una muestra intencional compuesta por 252 estudiantes del Colegio Militar de la Nación (73,8% hombres y 26,2% mujeres; media de edad=23,34, SD=2,55, mín.: 19 - máx.: 35) y 259 participantes de población civil (46,3% hombres y 53,7% mujeres; media de edad=42,18, SD=14,03, mín.: 18 - máx.: 88). Se evidencia mayor participación en actos conmemorativos en los estudiantes militares, así como un fuerte aporte en la formación académica en el marco de la conmemoración de los 40 años del enfrentamiento bélico.

Collective, social and cultural memory are representations or expressions of a past that are commonly shared by a group of people. They are collective commemorations or culturally embodied that corroborate the past, present and future group identity of that group. The objective of this work is to investigate the collective memory of the Malvinas War linked to the commemoration and exhibition as forms of subjective transmission and incorporation into military training in military students. A descriptive and comparative study of non-experimental cross-sectional design was carried out with an intentional sample made up of 252 students from the National Military College (73.8% men; 26.2% women; mean age=23.34, SD=2, 55, Min:19–Max:35) and 259 participants from the civilian population (males 46.3%; females 53.7%, mean age=42.18, SD=14.03, Min:18–Max:88). There is evidence of greater participation in commemorative acts in military students as well as a strong contribution in academic training in the framework of the commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the war.
