Decir desarraigado y re-existencia: Una mirada retrospectiva sobre el devenir de un proceso de investigación

Abstract

Este escrito hace una mirada retrospectiva de situaciones acontecidas en un proceso de conocimiento desarrollado en el marco de un proyecto de investigación bajo mi dirección, acreditado por la Secretaría de Investigación y Posgrado de la Universidad de Catamarca (2019-2021). En él nos proponíamos examinar la noción de re-existencia propuesta por el pensador colombiano Albán, que apeló a ella para referir a la experiencia de los esclavos en las haciendas coloniales en la región de Patía (Cauca, Colombia), quienes al preservar la dieta alimentaria no solo resistían al colonizador, sino que habían reinventado su vida. Salvando las distancias, en nuestro proyecto, nos propusimos indagar/pensar si sería pertinente su uso de esta idea en Andalgalá (localidad del noroeste argentino), espacialidad también afectada por el despojo a causa de la megaminería metalífera que hace casi tres décadas tiene presencia en la región. Sobre este lugar, algunos integrantes del proyecto de investigación venimos problematizando hace varios años. En consecuencia, esta contribución explora esta noción tomada a la ligera o como moda en los últimos años, para luego examinar si sería válido pensarla para poblaciones no indígenas ni campesinas (como es el caso de Andalgalá) pero igualmente afectadas por el despojo. En resumen, el objetivo de esta publicación consiste en indagar esta noción y evaluar la pertinencia de su uso en otro contexto, y la deriva de ello en el proceso de investigación como práctica colectiva de conocimiento.

This writing takes a retrospective look at situations that occurred in an insight process developed within the framework of a research project under my direction, accredited by the Secretary of Research and Postgraduate Studies of the University of Catamarca (2019-2021). In it, we examine the notion of re-existence proposed by the Colombian thinker Albán, who appealed to it to refer to the experience of slaves on colonial country estates in the Patía region (Cauca, Colombia), who, by preserving their diet not only resisted the colonizer but also reinvented their life. In spite of differences, in our project, we set out to investigate/think about whether its use of this idea would be appropriate in Andalgalá (a town in northwestern Argentina), a spatiality also affected by dispossession due to the metal mega-mining that has been developed for almost three decades in the region. Some members of this research project have been questioning about this place for several years. Consequently, this contribution explores this notion that has been taken lightly or as a trend in recent years, to then examine whether it would be valid to apply it to non-indigenous or peasant populations (as is the case of Andalgalá) but equally affected by dispossession. In summary, the aim of this publication is to investigate this notion and assess the relevance of its use in another context, and its subsequent implications for the research process as a collective practice of knowledge.
