Psiquis y realidad (relaciones ilustradas por los fragmentos cosmológicos y científicos de la historia realizada por Adam Smith)

Abstract

El artículo se sirve del texto titulado Los principios que presiden y dirigen las investigaciones filosóficas, ilustrados por la historia de la astronomía (1795) de Adam Smith para ilustrar, analizar y reflexionar sobre los modos en que, a lo largo de la historia, la humanidad fue tejiendo los vínculos entre psiquis y realidad para explicar diversas irregularidades (fundamentalmente astronómicas). Asimismo, como se notará, los fragmentos históricos implementados sirven para señalar un punto de ruptura en esas formas de tejer vínculos. Durante las revoluciones copernicana y científica habría emergido, con notoria legitimidad, una nueva entidad que guiará a la ciencia moderna y que alterará aquellas formas tradicionales de establecer relaciones entre la psiquis y la realidad, acarreando implicancias metafísicas, subjetivas y epistemológicas hasta la actualidad.

The article makes use of the text entitled The principles which lead and direct philosophical enquiries; illustrated by the history of astronomy (1795) by Adam Smith in order to illustrate, analyze and ponder on the ways in which, throughout history, humankind has been weaving the links between psyche and reality to explain various irregularities (mainly astronomical). Likewise, as will be noted, the historical fragments implemented come as useful to identify a breaking point in these ways of weaving links. During the Copernican and Scientific Revolutions, a new entity would have emerged, with notorious legitimacy. This entity would guide, modern science and alter those traditional ways of establishing relations between psyche and reality, carrying metaphysical, subjective and epistemological implications into our current times.
