“Una de cal, una de arena”: Cosmovisiones y Arqueología, aproximaciones a la historia minera del Parque Nacional El Palmar de Entre Ríos

Abstract

Desde una perspectiva arqueológica, la historia de los grupos humanos en cada territorio ha estado signada por los recursos disponibles, por las posibilidades socio-tecnológicas de aprovecharlos y por las estructuras ontológicas que han prefigurado los diferentes modos de vincularse, habitar, ordenar y/o usar el entorno material. En este trabajo realizaremos un recorrido por el registro arqueológico del Parque Nacional El Palmar -Provincia de Entre Ríos (Argentina)-con el fin de reconocer las distintas formas de utilizar las fuentes mineralógicas disponibles y, con ello, acercarnos a las cosmologías que sobre ellas actuaron. El registro arqueológico, como vestigio presente de esas humanidades pasadas, se desnuda en esta historia mineralógica que dista, como veremos, de ser sólo productiva.

From an archaeological perspective, the history of human groups in each territory has been shaped by the available resources, the sociotechnological possibilities of using them and the ontological structures that have prefigured the different ways of linking, inhabiting, ordering and/or using the material surroundings. In this paper we will review the archaeological register of El Palmar National Park - Province of Entre Ríos (Argentina)- in order to recognize the different ways of using the available mineralogical sources and, with this, approach the cosmologies that acted on them. The archaeological register, as a present vestige of those past humanities, is exposed in this mineralogical history, which, as we will see, is far from being only productive.
