Dinero estatal e impacto situado: Las transferencias monetarias estatales en los hogares de José Clemente Paz

Abstract

Este artículo tiene como objetivo difundir ante la comunidad de la UNPAZ algunos hallazgos del proyecto recientemente finalizado, titulado: “Dinero estatal e impacto cualitativo. Un estudio situado sobre las transferencias monetarias estatales”, implementado por un cuerpo de docentes, investigadores y estudiantes de los departamentos de Ciencias Jurídicas y Sociales (DCJyS) y Economía, Producción e Innovación Tecnológica (DEPIT), y como resultado de la agenda de investigación UNPAZCyT 2021-2023. El texto repone tanto los principales objetivos del proyecto como los alcanzados, reconstruyendo las perspectivas metodológica y teórica desde las cuales fueron abordadas las transferencias monetarias estatales implementadas en el marco de la pandemia COVID-19. Valiéndonos de aportes de la sociología y la antropología, se identifican las condiciones materiales objetivas de los hogares en el escenario de la pandemia (previo y posterior) y se exponen resultados parciales vinculados a las problemáticas de sobreendeudamiento, las tensiones en torno a la asistencia estatal y la aproximación a una nueva infraestructura monetaria del bienestar.

This article aims to disseminate to the UNPAZ community some findings of the recently completed project entitled: “State money and qualitative impact. A situated study on state monetary transfers”, implemented by a body of professors, researchers and students from the Departments of Legal and Social Sciences (DCJyS) and Economy, Production and Technological Innovation (DEPIT), and as a result of the UNPAZCyT 2021-2023 research agenda. The text replenishes both the main objectives of the project and those achieved, reconstructing the methodological and theoretical perspective from which state monetary transfers implemented in the framework of the COVID-19 pandemic were addressed. Using contributions from sociology and anthropology, the objective material conditions of households in the scenario of the pandemic (before and after) are identified and partial results linked to the problems of over-indebtedness, tensions around state assistance and the approach to a new monetary infrastructure of welfare are presented.
