Mediaciones de teoría y praxis: Adorno, Kluge y el movimiento estudiantil alemán

Abstract

El presente trabajo replantea la clásica dicotomía de teoría y praxis situada en el centro de la disputa entre el movimiento estudiantil alemán de protesta y Theodor W. Adorno. En un primer momento, se presenta una reconstrucción histórica enfocada en algunos episodios que caracterizan el clima de finales de la década del sesenta alemana, resaltando la figura mediadora del cineasta y escritor alemán Alexander Kluge. A partir de allí, se iluminan los cruces y las asociaciones antes que las posiciones dicotómicas frente al hacer/no hacer: teoría, política y arte se plantean como mediaciones diferentes e interrelacionadas de la noción de crítica de las tres las posiciones.

This paper rethinks the classic dichotomy of theory and praxis located at the heart of the dispute between the German student protest movement and Theodor W. Adorno. First, it presents a historical reconstruction that describes in detail some episodes which characterize the atmosphere of the late sixties in Germany, highlighting the mediating figure of the German filmmaker and writer Alexander Kluge. From there on, it focuses on crossovers and associations rather than dichotomous positions in the face of doing/not doing: theory, politics and art are presented as different and interrelated mediations of the notion of critique in all three positions.
