To the Editor, Vaccination against COVID-19 has mitigated the impact of SARS-CoV 2 infection, decreasing the probability of progression to severe disease and death in vaccinated people. Parallel to the development and administration of COVID-19 vaccines, the humoral immune response induced by the different vaccine platforms developed has beenwidely studied especially at the systemic level, while less attention had received the salivary immuneresponse. Some reports have shown specific salivary antibodies after vaccination with COVID-19 mRNA vaccines, which correlated with serum neutralization and indicated seroconversion[1,2]. On the other hand, given that the approval and administration of COVID19 vaccines in paediatric individuals was a posteriori, added to the difficulty of obtaining blood samples from this population,knowledge about the immune response after vaccination in children is lower than in adults [3–5]. In this work, we analysed the humoral immune response after vaccination in children, through a non invasive approach like the measurement of specific salivary antibodies.
