De la exhumación al proceso de devolución en Cerro Colorado (provincia de Córdoba): Un abordaje intercultural, transdisciplinar e interinstitucional

Abstract

El pedido de restitución de un ancestro indígena al Museo de Antropologías de la Facultad de Filosofía y Humanidades de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, en el mes de mayo de 2022, por parte de la Comunidad Indígena Comechingón Sanavirón Cerro Colorado, generó un trabajo en equipo por parte de distintos actores e instituciones que habíamos realizado la intervención antropológica con el objetivo de dar respuesta a la demanda. En esa instancia comenzamos a reconstruir y reflexionar sobre nuestras prácticas disciplinarias en vínculo con el Poder Judicial de la Provincia de Córdoba, la Agencia Córdoba Cultura del gobierno de la Provincia de Córdoba, la Secretaría de Derechos Humanos del Ministerio de Justicia y Derechos Humanos de Córdoba, el Consejo de Comunidades de Pueblos Indígenas de la Provincia de Córdoba y la Comunidad Indígena que solicitó la restitución. Responder a esta demanda implicó instancias de acompañamiento, conversación y escucha etnográfica con miembros del Consejo Directivo de la Facultad, donde se nos advirtió que “el Museo no restituía”, entonces ¿qué hacíamos? A lo largo de este trabajo buscamos describir e interpretar las experiencias vividas con la expectativa de que a partir de nuestras reflexividades contribuyamos a pensar las prácticas docentes, extensionistas y científicas de modo interdisciplinario e intercultural junto con las comunidades indígenas y diferentes espacios del gobierno provincial y poderes del Estado. Vale señalar que al momento de presentar este artículo aún no se realizó la restitución del individuo.

The request for «restitution» of an indigenous ancestor to the Museum of Anthropologies of the Faculty of Philosophy and Humanities of the National University of Córdoba, in May 2022, by the Cerro Colorado Comechingon Sanaviron Indigenous Community, generated a team work of different actors who had carried out the anthropological intervention with the aim of answering to the request. At that moment, we began to reconstruct and reflect on our disciplinary practices in connection with the Judiciary of the Province of Córdoba, the Córdoba Cultural Agency of the government of the Province of Córdoba, the Secretary of Human Rights of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights of Córdoba, the Council of Indigenous Peoples of the Province of Córdoba and the Indigenous Community. Answering to this request involved instances of dialogue with members of the Board of Directors of the Faculty, where we were warned that the Museum «does not do the restitution». So what could we do? Throughout this work we seek to ethnograph our lived experiences with the expectation that from the reflexivities we contribute to think about our teaching, extension and scientific practices in an interdisciplinary and intercultural way together with the indigenous communities and different spheres of the provincial government, in a context of restitution of an ancestor. It is worth noting that at the time of presenting this article, the reburial of the individual has not yet been carried out.
