Apuntes para una historiografía epistémico-nocional de la literatura y la teoría literaria. Primer problema: la “Naturaleza de los filósofos”

Abstract

En el presente trabajo intentaremos, partiendo de los aportes de Juan Carlos Rodríguez Gómez(y sus ideas acerca de la radical historicidad de la literatura y de la teoría literaria), delimitar las líneas generales de un nuevo proyecto de investigación. El objetivo de este nuevo proyecto es el de definir los objetivos generales, los fundamentos epistemológicos y las herramientas metodológicas para una nueva historiografía epistemológica y conceptual de la literatura y de la teoría literaria. Bajo la tesis de Rodríguez Gómez de la radical historicidad de la literatura, ahondaremos en un conjunto de experiencias del mundo antiguo y Modernidad que separan a la teoría literaria y a la literatura de sus respectivas “prehistorias”. A partir de la categoría Naturaleza de (según) los filósofos, inspirada en los aportes de la escuela althusseriana, nos acercaremos a estos cortes a través de tres conceptos caros a la historia del arte y al arte en tanto que tal: el de Naturaleza, el de mímesis y el de representación.

In this paper we will try, based on the contributions of Juan Carlos Rodríguez Gómez (and his ideas about the radical historicity of literature and literary theory), to define the general lines of a new research project. The objective of this new project is to define the general objectives, the epistemological foundations and the methodological tools for a new epistemological and conceptual historiography of literature and literary theory. Under Rodríguez Gómez's thesis of the radical historicity of literature, we will delve into a set of experiences from the ancient world and Modernity that separate literary theory and literature from their respective “prehistories”. Starting from the Nature category of (according to) the philosophers, inspired by the contributions of the Althusserian school, we will approach these cuts through three concepts dear to the history of art and to art as such: Nature, that of mimesis and that of representation.
