Maestros indígenas y profesionalización: el lugar de las lenguas en una capacitación docente en Santa Fe

Abstract

En este artículo se analiza una acción impulsada por el Estado santafesino para atender a la formación de maestros indígenas de la provincia. Se describe el lugar discursivo y efectivo destinado en la curricula al español y a las lenguas indígenas qom y mocoví, y se indaga en las causas que permiten explicar la aparente hegemonía del español en una propuesta cuyo proyecto apela a un objetivo lingüístico atento a refuncionalizar las lenguas indígenas en la esfera de la educación. El corpus se compone de entrevistas, conversaciones informales y registros de observaciones participantes obtenidos en una investigación etnográfica y multisituada llevada a cabo entre los años 2016 y 2020 en el marco de la investigación doctoral.

This article analyzes an action promoted by the State of Santa Fe to attend to the development of indigenous teachers in the province. The discursive and effective place assigned in the curriculum to Spanish and to the Qom and Mocoví indigenous languages is described, and this study investigates the causes that allow to explain the apparent hegemony of Spanish in a proposal whose project appeals to a linguistic objective aimed at refunctionalizing indigenous languages in the sphere of education. The corpus is made up of interviews, informal conversations and records of participant observations obtained in the framework of an ethnographic and multi-situated investigation carried out between the years 2016 and 2020 within the framework of a doctoral research.
