Los nuevos patriarcas odiantes: abordajes feministas descoloniales para comprender la época

Abstract

Para comprender los modos en que opera actualmente el género como dispositivo de subjetivación conservadora, necesitamos abordar a nivel empírico, los modos en que el neoliberalismo como orden estructural y subjetivo se reproduce en valores y prácticas masculinas hegemónicas y se encarna en figuras públicas políticas de envergadura mundial. Como estrategia de comprensión, proponemos analizar los discursos y afectaciones emocionales que producen figuras políticas relevantes de la escena social de América como son Javier Milei en Argentina, Jair Bolsonaro en Brasil y Donald Trump en Estados Unidos. Dichos referentes, representan un sector de la masculinidad reaccionaria que produce afectaciones negativas en términos emocionales y discursivos frente a los avances feministas y sociales, construyendo alianzas políticas con quienes se sienten los perdedores radicales de la globalización. Como conclusión, analizamos que las subjetividades masculinas que vivieron el giro neoliberal sienten frustración y odio ante la flexibilización del mercado laboral y la pérdida de filiación social, asociando estas emociones a la emergencia de los feminismos, la ocupación del empleo por parte de las mujeres, los derechos de migrantes y población sexo-disidente.

In order to understand the ways in which gender currently functions as a device of conservative subjectivation, we need to address, at an empirical level, the ways in which neoliberalism as a structural and subjective order is reproduced in hegemonic masculine values and practices. As an understanding strategy, we intend to analyze the speeches and emotional affectations produced by relevant political figures from the American social scene, such as Javier Milei in Argentina, Jair Bolsonaro in Brazil, and Donald Trump in the United States. These referents represent a sector of reactionary masculinity that produces negative affectations in emotional and discursive terms in the face of feminist and social advances, forming political alliances with those who feel they are radical losers of globalization. In conclusion, we analyze that the masculine subjectivities that have lived through the neoliberal turn feel frustration and hatred in the face of the flexibility of the labor market and the loss of social belonging, associating these emotions with the emergence of feminisms, the occupation of the workplace by women, the rights of migrants and the gender-dissident population.
