La experiencia como locus de enunciación liminal entre el activismo y la academia: Apuntes epistemológicos y políticos

Abstract

El siguiente trabajo se detiene sobre algunos conceptos centrales en la producción de conocimientos feministas: experiencia, identidad y representación. A través de los aportes de las Epistemologías Feministas propongo estudiar un borde particularmente productivo en la conjugación teórica, afectiva y política de esos tres conceptos: me refiero a la liminalidad entre activismo y academia. En ese lugar de tensión anida una característica del feminismo: es y está en movimiento; y desde ese espacio que continuamente expande sus bordes ―no sólo con las conquistas teóricas, sino a través de las luchas sociales― es que se pueden generar prácticas reflexivas acerca del pensar-estar-en-situación.El objetivo del artículo es presentar los aportes de las llamadas Teorías del Punto de Vista ―que conjugaron preocupaciones de las feministas de los sesenta― para retomar la cuestión siempre presente en los Estudios Feministas y Culturales acerca de quién conoce, cómo se legitiman los saberes, o si existe un lugar ideal de generación de conocimientos “auténticos”.

The following paper focuses on some central concepts in the production of feminist knowledge: experience, identity and representation. Through the contributions of Feminist Epistemologies, I propose to study the liminality between activism and academia as a particularly productive border in the theoretical, affective and political conjugation of the three concepts mentioned above. Through that tension nestles a characteristic of feminism: it is a and in movement; it continually expands its borders - not only with theoretical conquests, but also through the social struggles of the movement -, and from that border, reflexive practices about thinking-being-insituation can be generated. In order to take up the ever-present question in Feminist and Cultural Studies about who knows, how knowledge is legitimized, or whether there is an ideal place for generating "authentic" knowledge, I present the contributions of the Standpoint Theories, which brought together the concerns of the feminists of the 1960s.
