Descentrar los feminismos y recuperar las experiencias: Reflexiones desde el sur en torno al 33º ENM

Abstract

A lo largo del tiempo el ENM ha sido una instancia dinamizadora de las discusiones e iniciativas impulsadas por los feminismos en Argentina y en América Latina. Partiendo de esta afirmación, es posible inscribir a Trelew en ese recorrido, no lineal ni exento de contradicciones. Desde esta perspectiva, pretendemos abordar algunas experiencias en torno a la organización del 33° Encuentro (Pluri) Nacional de Mujeres y Disidencias, desarrollado en Trelew, Chubut (Patagonia Argentina). Situando la realización de este evento en un lugar construido simbólica y materialmente como “periférico”, los objetivos del trabajo son, por un lado, analizar esta experiencia particular de organización, teniendo en cuenta los debates políticos e ideológicos que expresaron diferentes formas de entender la praxis feminista. Y por otro lado, indagar sobre ciertas implicancias en la realidad local atendiendo a las especificidades, tanto desde las condiciones estructurales para su concreción, como las memorias sociales en disputa que también dieron forma a la realización del Encuentro.

Over time, the ENM has been a thermometer and a dynamizer of the discussions and initiatives promoted by feminisms in Argentina and Latin America. Based on this afirmation, it is possible to include Trelew in that route, not linear or without contradictions. From this perspective, we intend to address some experiences around the organization of the 33rd (Pluri) National Meeting of Women and Dissidents realized in Trelew, Chubut (Argentine Patagonia). Situating the realization of this event in a place built symbolically and materially as “peripheral”, the objectives of this contribution are, on the one hand, to analyze this particular experience of organization, taking into account the political and ideological debates that expressed different ways of understanding the feminist praxis. And on the other hand, to inquire about some implications in the local reality attending to the specificities, both from the structural conditions for its concretion, as the social memories in dispute that also shaped the realization of this meeting.
