Complejizar la Perspectiva Historiográfica: Herramientas Epistémicas y Metodológicas para una Historia de los Saberes Psi

Abstract

En el presente artículo se trabaja sobre una serie de herramientas conceptuales para un abordaje crítico en historia de la psicología, psiquiatría y psicoanálisis. Se examina el crecimiento del campo de la historia de los saberes psi en el contexto iberoamericano, recuperando los aportes de los estudios sobre circulación de saberes, la distinción entre centros y periferias y las perspectivas transnacionales. Se plantea la importancia de recortar el problema de investigación a partir de la complejización de los instrumentos de análisis, considerando el aporte de la epistemología crítica. Finalmente se analiza un caso específico de la historiografía argentina que permite dar cuenta de la utilización de este aparato conceptual e historiográfico: las ideas de R. Senet sobre el desarrollo y la educación de varones argentinos a comienzos del siglo XX.

The aim of this article is to present and analyse a series of conceptual tools for a critical approach to the history of psychology, psychiatry and psychoanalysis. This article examines the growth of the field of the history of psy knowledge in the Ibero-American context, recovering the contributions of studies on the circulation of knowledge, the distinction between centres and peripheries and transnational perspectives. Considering the contribution of Critical Epistemology, it is important to establish the research problem by complexifying the instruments of analysis. A new field of research is presented, and a specific problem is outlined which allows us to account for the use of this conceptual and historiographical apparatus: R. Senet’s ideas about argentinian boys’ development and education at the beginning of the 20th century.
