EI mundo judicial es una boda: Intersecciones entre justicia penal y academia en Argentina

Abstract

En este trabajo ofrecemos los primeros hallazgos de una investigación que explora las trayectorias de actores judiciales que trabajan en la justicia penal y, simultáneamente, desarrollan tareas docentes, bien en el ámbito universitario, bien dictando cursos de capacitación para integrantes del poder judicial. En concreto, abordamos dos cuestiones: el modo y las circunstancias en las que ingresan a la justicia penal, y en segundo lugar, las características más relevantes que dichos actores judiciales le adjudican al espacio judicial en el que se desarrollan sus trayectorias laborales. Aplicamos la técnica de “bola de nieve” para acceder a nuestros entrevistados. Se trata de un trabajo exploratorio que, como tal, no ofrece representatividad estadística sobre el universo de la justicia penal. Sin embargo, nos permitió llevar adelante algunas caracterizaciones tipológicas en función de ciertas regularidades para conocer mejor a estos sujetos anfibios que habitan en forma conjunta los espacios judicial y docente.

In this paper we offer the first findings of an investigation that explores the trajectories of judicial actors who work in criminal justice and, simultaneously, carry out teaching tasks, either at the university level, or by teaching training courses for members of the judiciary. Specifically, we address two questions: the way and circumstances in which they enter criminal justice, and secondly, the most relevant characteristics that these judicial actors attribute to the judicial space in which their work trajectories are developed. We apply the “snowball” technique to access our interviewees. It is an exploratory work that, as such, does not offer statistical representativeness on the universe of criminal justice. However, it allowed us to carry out some typological characterizations based on certain regularities to better understand these amphibious subjects who jointly inhabit the judicial and educational spaces.
