Clinical and genetic characteristics of CARD14-associated papulosquamous eruption in a paediatric case

Abstract

A one-year-old patient was referred to our institution due to erythroderma, xerosis, generalized white scales, and diffuse alopecia of the scalp and eyebrows (Figure 1). As per personal history, the patient developed a dermatosis on the face at 6months of age, which later became a generalized scaly plaques exanthema associated with pruritus. Routine laboratory tests as well as hair shaft analysis showed no abnormalities.
