Del FAUDI a la CEPA: el maoísmo en el movimiento estudiantil de la UBA en la postdictadura argentina (1983-2001)

Abstract

Este trabajo examina a las agrupaciones estudiantiles ligadas al maoísmo en la Universidad de Buenos Aires durante la postdictadura argentina. Se trata de un sector muy poco investigado dentro de la ya escasa literatura sobre el movimiento estudiantil de esos años. Nos proponemos indagar su recorrido desde los complejos años ochenta a su crecimiento en los años noventa a través de la CEPA (Corriente Estudiantil Popular Antiimperialista), que llegó a ser la segunda fuerza dentro de la universidad, en el marco de las protestas estudiantiles frente al gobierno de Carlos Menem. A partir de ello, buscamos dar cuenta de la perdurabilidad de la corriente maoísta después de la última dictadura, su incidencia dentro del movimiento estudiantil del periodo y su papel en el desplazamiento de Franja Morada de los centros de estudiantes de la UBA en torno a 2001.

This paper examines the student groups linked to Maoism at the University of Buenos Aires during the Argentine post-dictatorship. It is a sector that has not been investigated enough within the already scant literature on the student movement of those years. We intend to investigate its journey from the complex eighties to its growth in the nineties through the CEPA (Corriente Estudiantil Popular Antiimperialista), which became the second force within the university, in the framework of the student protests against the government of Carlos Menem. Regarding these issues, we seek to account for the durability of the maoist movement after the last dictatorship, its incidence within the student movement of the period and its role in the displacement of Franja Morada, student arm of the Union Cívica Radical, from the UBA student centers circa 2001.
