Hegel y Aristóteles: Una crítica a la representación

Abstract

El presente artículo tiene por objetivo general mostrar que la crítica hegeliana al conocimiento representativo se fortalece a la luz del vínculo entre Aristóteles y Hegel. En particular, se robustece al tratar a la dialéctica como una forma de apropiación de la teoría del movimiento propuesta por Aristóteles. Como hipótesis, diremos que de esta crítica resulta un modo de comprender el proceso de conocimiento que hace de la actividad de conocer la forma en la que se realizan potencias inherentes a los objetos que ésta enfrenta.

The general aim of this article is to show that the Hegelian critique of representative knowledge is strengthened in the light of the link between Aristotle and Hegel. In particular, it is enhanced by treating dialectics as a form of appropriation of the theory of movement proposed by Aristotle. As a hypothesis, we will say that this critique results in a way of understanding the process of knowledge that makes the activity of knowing the form in which are realized the potentialities inherent in the objects it confronts.
