En los engranajes de la 'Ndrangheta: De lo local a lo global

Abstract

¿Qué es un poder mafioso? ¿Cuáles son sus estructuras? ¿Cómo se difunde? La ramificación y la extensión de la 'Ndrangheta (la mafia calabresa) nos permite considerar cuáles son los elementos estructurales que permiten su globalización. En la primera parte del trabajo se analiza su consolidación a través de la construcción de la "signoria territoriale" y los métodos de legitimación en tanto poder transclasista. Posteriormente, se toma en consideración la diseminación del poder 'ndranghetista, en función de las características sociales que permiten su infiltración y radicación en otros contextos, distantes de su territorio de origen. Finalmente, se pone en foco el reconocimiento del fenómeno mafioso a través de las investigaciones del juez argentino Alejo Ramos Padilla acerca del “D’Alessiogate", que evidencia una trama de una red de poder capaz de moverse transnacionalmente haciendo eje en la Argentina. La inquietud que mueve este trabajo reside en la necesidad de reconocer socialmente (y sociológicamente) aquellos elementos que construyen y consolidan la 'Ndrangheta en sociedades globalizadas. El cierre hace pie en un colofón que empalma los intereses de la ’Ndrangheta con Paraguay.

What is mafia power? What are their structures? How is it spread? The ramification and extension of the 'Ndrangheta (the Calabrian mafia) allows us to consider what are the structural elements that allow its globalization. In the first part of the work, its consolidation is analyzed through the construction of the "signoria territoriale" and the methods of legitimation as transclass power. Subsequently, the dissemination of 'ndranghetist power is taken into consideration, depending on the social characteristics that allow its infiltration and establishment in other contexts, distant from its territory of origin. Finally, the recognition of the mafia phenomenon is brought into focus through the investigations of the Argentine judge Alejo Ramos Padilla about the “D'Alessiogate”, which shows a plot of a power network capable of moving transnationally with its axis in Argentina. The concern that drives this work lies in the need to socially (and sociologically) recognize those elements that build and consolidate the 'Ndrangheta in globalized societies. The closing gives rise to a culmination that connects the interests of the 'Ndrangheta with Paraguay.
