Mujeres de la pesca artesanal en Península Valdés: Identidades y resistencias

Abstract

El presente artículo pretende abordar desde una perspectiva del feminismo situado y a través de la historia oral las experiencias de mujeres dentro de la pesca artesanal en Península Valdés, analizando su capacidad de agencia y sus experiencias. Procuraremos analizar sus relatos haciendo hincapié en su construcción identitaria dentro de la actividad, como respuesta y resistencia ante otros sectores como la propiedad privada y el Estado. A partir de una escucha atenta, reconstruiremos los saberes y prácticas de cuatro mujeres en la pesca, con el objetivo de reconstruir sus indispensables figuras dentro de la actividad.

This article aims to shed light on the experiences of women in artisanal fishing in Valdés Peninsula from a perspective of situated feminism and through oral history by analyzing their capacity for agency and their experiences. We will try to analyze their stories emphasizing the construction of their identity within the activity, as a response and resistance to other agents such as private property and the State. On the basis of an attentive listening, we will reconstruct the knowledge and practices of four women in the fishing industry, with the aim of reconstructing their indispensable figures within the activity.
