La naturaleza como tema en la obra de José Luis Romero

Abstract

El artículo se ocupa de analizar el despliegue de la noción de naturaleza en la obra de José Luis Romero. Se aborda la cuestión tanto en lo referente al análisis histórico concreto cuanto en relación con las concepciones teórico-historiográficas del autor. El tema aparece con claridad en al menos tres tópicos, que se estudiarán en el curso del trabajo: 1. la naturaleza humana, 2. las concepciones generales de la naturaleza en la larga duración y las formas de conocerla, y 3. el papel de la idea de naturaleza en el concepto de “vida histórica”.

The article analyzes the deployment of the notion of nature in the work of José Luis Romero. The issue is addressed both in relation to concrete historical analysis and in relation to the author's theoretical-historiographical conceptions. The theme appears clearly in at least three topics, which will be studied in the course of the work: 1. human nature, 2. the general conceptions of nature in the long term and the ways of knowing it, and 3. the role of the idea of ​​nature in the concept of “historical life”.
