Experiencias patrimoniales en la Cuenca Lechera Central Argentina: Valoraciones de productores tamberos sobre bienes materiales e intangibles

Abstract

En décadas recientes, los bienes patrimoniales comenzaron a motivar discusiones en relación a su rol en políticas de desarrollo y ordenamiento territorial. En ese marco, son aún incipientes las consideraciones hechas desde las miradas de actores sociales locales en la valoración de ese conjunto de recursos. En este artículo, se buscará dar cuenta de ciertas experiencias en torno al patrimonio tangible e inmaterial existente en la Cuenca Lechera Central Argentina, centradas en el ámbito de las explotaciones de productores lecheros y en las relaciones que este colectivo humano construye para con sus bienes. Para ello, se recurrió a una metodología cualitativa, en la cual se rescataron una serie de entrevistas realizadas para la tesis de la investigación doctoral que motivó este escrito. En el procesamiento de los datos obtenidos, se intentó hallar un mismo hilo conductor que aunara los distintos relatos en uno solo, y que permitiera determinar puentes entre las vivencias patrimoniales y los rasgos de la cultura local. Los hallazgos determinaron el agrupamiento de recursos tangibles, por un lado, y de costumbristas, por el otro; aunque en las conclusiones ambos conformaron partes de una misma síntesis. Entre esas reflexiones, resalta el descubrimiento de valoraciones económicas y utilitaristas, pero con nulas consideraciones desde una dimensión esteticista. Asimismo, la asignación de papeles testimoniales por parte del grupo convocado a determinados elementos paradigmáticos del patrimonio regional, como son la lechería, la familia y el trabajo rural.

In recent decades, heritage assets began to motivate discussions in relation to their role in development and territorial planning policies. In this framework, the considerations made from the perspective of local social actors in the assessment of this set of resources are still incipient. This article will seek to account for certain experiences around the tangible and intangible heritage existing in the Central Argentina’s dairy production region that focus on the environment of dairy farming and on the relationships built among the individuals in a group regarding its assets. In order to do this, a qualitative methodology was employed, and a series of interviews conducted for the doctoral research thesis that motivated this writing were retrieved. In the processing of the data obtained, an attempt was made to find a common thread that would merge the different stories into a single one, and that would make it possible to determine bridges between the heritage experiences and the features of local culture. The findings determined the grouping of tangible resources, on the one hand, and of traditionalist assets, on the other. However, both formed parts of the same synthesis in the conclusions. Two considerations stand out in this investigation: the discovery of economic and utilitarian assessment -though with no considerations from an aesthetic dimension-, and the summoned group’s assignment of testimonial roles to certain paradigmatic elements of the regional heritage, such as dairy, family and rural work.
