Clases de palabras y predicación intransitiva en lenguas tupí-guaraníes meridionales

Abstract

El objetivo del artículo es, por un lado, revisar la clasificación tipológica del sistema de clases depalabras en las lenguas de la familia tupí-guaraní a la luz de los desarrollos teóricos de la tipologíafuncional. Por otro lado, y principalmente, el trabajo se propone analizar comparativamente laexpresión de predicados no verbales nominales y locativos, y la posibilidad de las frases nominales derecibir o no afijos típicamente verbales, con foco en el estudio de lenguas las siguientes lenguas tupí- guaraníes meridionales: guaraní chaqueño, guaraní paraguayo y tapiete. El estudio se basa en datosprimarios recolectados en terreno y en fuentes secundarias.

The purpose of this paper is to analyse the expression of nominal and locative non-verbal predication from a comparative point of view in three southern Tupi-Guarani languages, and the possibility of noun phrases to receive (or not) typically verbal affixes. From this inquiry, the study aims to contribute to the typological classification of the part-of-speech system, and the typology of non-verbal predication in Tupí-Guaraní languages in the light of theoretical developments from funcionalist-typological framework. The study is based on primary data collected through personal fieldwork, and secondary sources from the languages Chacoan Guaraní, Paraguayan Guarani and Tapiete.
