La participación de las juventudes de la Marea Verde en los desafíos respecto de la implementación de la ley N° 27610 (Ley IVE)

Abstract

En diciembre del 2020 se sancionó la Ley N° 26710, que garantiza el derecho al aborto legal, seguro y gratuito en Argentina por ello, se nos encomendó la tarea de investigar el rol y la participación de las juventudes dentro de la denominada Marea Verde. Movimiento con fuerte incidencia en América Latina y el mundo, que tiene como particularidad la incorporación masiva de jóvenes a las discusiones, movilizaciones, pañuelazos y vigilias que se desarrollaron en el marco del debate en el Congreso de la Nación desde el año 2018. Reflexionamos a partir de discursos, prácticas y acciones políticas, la participación de jóvenes -mujeres, trans, travestis, lesbianas, bisexuales y no binaries-de entre 15 y 26 años, de las provincias de Chaco, Mendoza, Salta, Santiago del Estero y Tucumán. Como parte de los hallazgos, presentaremos los atravesamientos de narrativas y prácticas de sectores eclesiásticos-político-judiciales que, a lo largo de la construcción de la Marea Verde, han interpuesto estrategias de resistencia y oposición, comoasí también las estrategias ofensivas y de confrontación de sentidos que las juventudes han construido como respuesta política.Creemos que uno de los desafíos actuales en cuanto a la implementación de la Ley IVE. remite a recuperar y jerarquizar el rol estratégico que les jóvenes ocupan y podrían ocupar como actores protagónicxs en los procesos de promoción, implementación y monitoreo de la ley. Se vuelve necesario conocer sus expectativas, experiencias, necesidades, demandas y concepciones, las cuales muchas veces entran en tensión con la lógica adultocéntrica.

In December 2020, the Act that guarantees access to the right to legal, safe and free abortion was passed and, therefore, we were entrusted with the task of investigating the role and participation of young people from different parts of our country within the so-called Green Tide. This is a movement with strong incidence in Latin America and the world, which is characterized by the massive incorporation of young people to the discussions, demonstrations, pañuelazos and vigils that were developed during the debates in Congress in 2018 and 2019. We set out to investigate through discourses, practices and political actions, the participation of young people -women, trans, transvestites, lesbians, bisexuals and non-binary-, in the Green Tide, in different provinces, including Mendoza, Tucumán, Chaco, Salta and Santiago del Estero. As part of the findings, we will present the narratives and practices of various ecclesiastical-political-judicial sectors, which throughout the construction of the Green Tide have interposed various strategies of resistance and opposition. Therefore, we believe that part of overcoming the current challenges regarding the implementation of the IVE Ac refers to rethinking the role of young people as actors, promoters and monitors of the implementation of the law. However, including young people in these challenges implies knowing their expectations, experiences, needs and demands, which often come into tension with the prevailing adult-centric logic in the debates about public health policies that revolve around the sexual and reproductive health of feminized corporalities.
