Huerteando en épocas de Pandemia, una experiencia en el Departamento Diamante (Entre Ríos)

Abstract

Adaptándonos a la nueva realidad que se impone, debido a la pandemia ocasionada por el SARS-CoV-2 en Argentina y el mundo, y dando continuidad al fortalecimiento entre las instituciones del territorio y la comunidad, en pos de proveer soluciones a problemáticas concretas, el objetivo del presente trabajo fue concienciar a las familias sobre las oportunidades que ofrecen las huertas agroecológicas; en términos de auto- sustentabilidad, combinando el uso de tecnologías de información y comunicación (TICs), y el acompañamiento técnico y social. Para ello, se realizaron diversas actividades guiadas por cartillas informativas, relacionadas a las plagas y el daño que éstas provocan; acompañando con imágenes que facilitan su identificación, con el objeto de incorporar hábitos de monitoreo, importante para el manejo de las mismas. Además, por medio de una encuesta, se pudo visibilizar el aprendizaje de los participantes. La experiencia facilitó la generación de espacios de intercambio y mutuo conocimiento entre participantes y entre los participantes y los responsables del proyecto.

The aim of the present study was to raise the awareness of families to the opportunities offered by agro-ecological vegetable gardens considering the need to adapt ourselves to the new reality imposed by the pandemic caused by SARS-CoV-2 in Argentina and the world, and to continue the strengthening of links between institutions and the community within the territory to provide solutions to concrete problems. This was thought through in terms of selfsustainability, combining the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) along with technical and social accompaniment. For this, diverse activities were organised and these used informative posters as guidelines relating to pestilences and the damage they cause along with images that help identification to incorporate monitoring habits important for pest management. Moreover, by means of a survey, the learning process of the participants could be evaluated. The experience facilitated communication regarding spaces and mutual knowledge among participants and also between participants and those responsible for the project.
