Problematizaciones desde la frontera: La negra muchacho en la Córdoba de principios del siglo XX

Abstract

Este artículo ha analizado, a través del caso de la negra muchacho, algunas características del régimen colonial establecidas en la ciudad de Córdoba, Argentina, a principios del siglo XX. El caso de la negra muchacho, que pasa a la posteridad por su presencia en estudios de la época, permite evidenciar el régimen nominativo y de lectura de las corporalidades y subjetividades que impone el arreglo de género de la modernidad/colonialidad; y trazar su línea de frontera, aquello que queda por fuera y que se le resiste. Los estudios de la descolonialidad insisten en la importancia de problematizar los regímenes coloniales que se articulan, situadamente, a partir de la conformación de los Estados nacionales. En pos de contribuir a ello, y por medio del análisis bibliográfico de estudios que aborden la vida de los sectores populares de Córdoba, se recuperan aspectos de la historia de la negra muchacho que permiten poner en tensión las categorías y los regímenes de visibilidad de la colonialidad; y articular, a su vez, formas de resistencias a los mismos. La negra muchacho y su presencia en la sociedad cordobesa de entonces, tensiona las diversas maneras de nominar, clasificar y habitar el espacio tiempo, invitándonos además a nuevas maneras de producir saberes.

Tis article has analyzed, through the case of the negra muchacho (black girl), some characteristics of the colonial regime established in the city of Córdoba, Argentina, at the beginning of the 20th century. Te case of the black girl, who is remembered for her presence in studies of the time, allows us to evidence the nominative regime and the reading of corporalities and subjectivities imposed by the gender arrangement of modernity/coloniality; and to trace its borderline, that which remains outside and resists it. Decoloniality studies insist on the importance of problematizing the colonial regimes that are articulated, situationally, from the conformation of national states. In order to contribute to this, and by means of the bibliographic analysis of studies that deal with the life of the popular sectors of Córdoba, aspects of the history of the negra muchacho are recovered that allow to put in tension the categories and the regimes of visibility of coloniality; and to articulate, at the same time, forms of resistance to them. Te black girl and her presence in the Cordoba society of that time, tensions the diferent ways of nominating, classifying and inhabiting the space-time, inviting us to new ways of producing knowledge.
