Discutir las imágenes: Sobre el pensamiento crítico de Regina Gibaja

Abstract

Este artículo desarrolla un análisis crítico de la puesta en práctica de la categoría narrativa de etnoficción por el antropólogo cultural Marc Augé en confrontación con el giro etnográfico identificado por Beatriz Sarlo en los temas, conflictos y escenarios escogidos por la narrativa argentina contemporánea. El análisis pone en evidencia los diferentes tipos de funciones de lo etnográfico en el registro de los relatos contemporáneos, al tiempo que permite visibilizar un determinado modelo o matriz de percepción crítica (modernista) conflictuado ante esa emergencia formal.

This article synthesizes a first advance of formal research on Regina Elena Gibaja's critical work on the my-thologies of ‘the feminine’ and the processes of construction and justification of the image of women in the Argentine cultural context of the twentieth century in the light of a Marxist- existentialist matrix approach. It thus presents a reading of the intellectual and institutional project developed by Gibaja from his beginnings and formation in the group of the journals Contorno and Centro to his later academic and institutional inser-tion in the field of Latin American applied sociological research. Within this framework, it seeks especially to illuminate the political and intellectual work of an author generally excluded from the recognition traditionally attributed to the "men" of the so-called “generation of '55”.
