This paper proposes a control strategy for a stepdownBuck power converter with LCL output filter feeding aconstant power load. The control strategy uses exact feedbacklinearization, including the power estimation of the load. Thisallows to obtain fast response when the power demandedchanges between different values.The power estimate is obtained by using a non-linearreduced-order observer with linear error dynamics. Hence, thecontrol strategy uses a reduced number of sensors, increasingreliability and reducing the cost of the system.The system performance obtained with the proposed controlstrategy is tested through numerical simulations.
