Patrimonio funerario: Un proyecto de ruta popular (Mendoza, Argentina)

Abstract

El manuscrito presenta un proyecto de investigación básica y de transferencia que busca poner en valor el patrimonio material e inmaterial de los cementerios públicos de la provincia de Mendoza, República Argentina. Se considera que los cementerios son sitios patrimoniales por su alto valor simbólico e identitario y de gran visibilidad, siendo elementos de cohesión de la población, así como también, posibles recursos socioeconómicos debido a su vinculación con el turismo a nivel municipal y provincial.

This article a basic research and transfer project that seeks to value the material and immaterial heritage of public cemeteries in the province of Mendoza, Argentina. Cemeteries are considered patrimonial sites because of their high symbolic and identity value and high visibility, being elements of cohesion of the population, as well as possible socioeconomic resources due to their links with tourism at the municipal and provincial levels.
