Metamorfosis después del regreso: La crisálida de Nisa Forti y La tierra incomparable de Antonio Dal Masetto

Abstract

La crisálida (1984) de Nisa Forti y La tierra incomparable (1994) de Antonio Dal Masetto son obras que, inspiradas en las vivencias personales de sus propios autores, abordan diferentes aspectos del proceso migratorio. Partiendo de la hipótesis de que en el primer retorno es cuando el sujeto obtiene evidencias tangibles de las pérdidas sufridas –tanto por el cambio de residencia como por el paso del tiempo–, el objetivo general del presente artículo será analizar las vivencias del migrante durante la instancia de su regreso a la tierra natal –específicamente, las metamorfosis operadas no sólo en el espacio y en su percepción, sino también en los vínculos interpersonales que se busca restablecer–. A través del estudio de escenas de reencuentros con familiares,conocidos y/o amigos, que permanecieron en el país de origen, indicaremos de qué modo esos contactos operan como recordatorios de una imposibilidad: la de regresar al estado de cosas dejado antes de la partida. Paralelamente, intentaremos evaluar –a través de los imaginarios desplegados en torno a “los que se fueron” y a “los que se quedaron”– de qué manera los procesos migratorios afectaron no sólo a quienes partieron sino también a quienes permanecieron en el país de origen.

La crisálida (1984) by Nisa Forti and La tierra incomparable (1994) by Antonio Dal Masetto are works that, inspired by the authors’ personal experiences, address different aspects of the migratory process. Starting from the hypothesis that it is in the first return that the subject obtains tangible evidence of the losses suffered –both due to the change of residence and the passage of time– , the general objective of this article will be to analyze the experiences of the migrant during the instance of his return to his native land, specifically, the metamorphoses that took place not only in space and in her perception, but also in the interpersonal bonds that she seeks to reestablish. It is through the study of these reunion scenes with relatives, acquaintances and / or friends, who remained in the country of origin, that we will indicate how these contacts function as reminders of an impossibility: returning to the state of affairs left before the departure. At the same time, we will try to evaluate –through the imaginary deployed around “those who left” and “those who stayed”– how the migratory processes affected not only those who left but also those who remained in the country of origin.
