Análisis de las experiencias de la comunidad qom del barrio Mapic (Resistencia, Chaco) durante la primera etapa del Aislamiento Social Preventivo y Obligatorio –Covid 19

Abstract

El objetivo de este artículo es analizar el impacto de la pandemia Covid- 19 en la vida de las comunidades qom urbanas de Resistencia (Chaco) durante los primeros meses del Aislamiento Social Preventivo y Obligatorio (ASPO). Específicamente, se describe la organización social de las comunidades indígenas chaqueñas y el modo en el que experimentaron el ASPO. Finalmente, presentamos las experiencias de tres miembros del pueblo qom que se contagiaron de Covid 19 en la primera etapa del ASPO. La metodología es etnográfica. Atendiendo a las condiciones y protocolos sanitarios para el trabajo de campo se realizó un primer relevamiento de datos a través del WhatsApp, estableciendo diálogos con los contactos de las comunidades con quienes venimos trabajando desde hace más de diez años. Luego, se realizaron visitas breves a la comunidad del barrio Mapic durante el Distanciamiento Social Preventivo y Obligatorio (DISPO) donde se recopilaron entrevistas semidirigidas.

The objective of this article is to analyze the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the life of the Qom urban communities of Resistencia (Chaco) during the first months of Preventive and Mandatory Social Isolation. Specifically, it describes the social organization of the indigenous communities of the Chaco and the way in which they experienced Preventive Isolation. Finally, we present the experiences of three members of the Qom people, who were infected with Covid 19 in the first stage of the Preventive and Mandatory Social Isolation. The methodology is ethnographic. Considering the health conditions and protocols for field work, a first data survey was carried out through the Whats App, establishing dialogues with the contacts of the communities with which we have worked for more than ten years. Then, brief visits were made to the community of the Mapic neighborhood during the Preventive and Obligatory Social Distancing where semi-directed interviews were carried out.
