Las perspectivas de un viajero filosófico: Un análisis de las valoraciones de Ortega y Gasset sobre Argentina

Abstract

El presente trabajo se propone analizar algunas perspectivas desplegadas por Ortega y Gasset durante sus viajes Argentina. En primer lugar, desde la sociología de los intelectuales, analizaremos el rol del pensador español en Argentina, teniendo en Alberini, Alejandro Korn y otros, como también la mirada que estos intelectuales tienen en torno a Ortega y Gasset. Luego, desde la historia de las ideas, como análisis del discurso, analizaremos algunos de sus ensayos, escritos durante y posteriormente a sus viajes. El análisis de este material permitirá la reconstrucción de la perspectiva del filósofo sobre Argentina, atendiendo a los posicionamientos filosófico-políticos presentes en las representaciones, metáforas y binarismos con los que conceptualiza su experiencia de viaje.

The present work proposes to analyze some perspectives displayed by Ortega y Gasset during his trips to Argentina. In the first place, from the sociology of intellectuals, we will analyze the role of the Spanish thinker in Argentina, taking into account the links created with central figures in the intellectual field such as Coriolano Alberini, Alejandro Korn and others, as well as the view that these intellectuals have on around Ortega y Gasset. Then, from the history of ideas, as discourse analysis, we will analyze some of his essays, written during and after his travels. The analysis of this material will allow the reconstruction of the philosopher's perspective on Argentina, taking into account the philosophical-political positions present in the representations, metaphors and binarisms with which he conceptualizes his travel experience.
