El lugar del peronismo en la historia de la ciencia en Argentina

Abstract

Esta investigación se inserta en un estudio mayor apuntado a reconstruir las diversas formas en las que la historiografía profesional y otros discursos históricos no académicos han abordado la relación entre Ciencia y Peronismo en laArgentina contemporánea. Elpropósito de dicho estudio es analizar la imagen demasiado simplista de esta relación que aún subsiste en la memoria social y, en buena medida, sigue influyendo en las agendas de investigación histórica y el debate político más general. Para ello, este artículo se propone ensayar una revisión bibliográfica y ofrecer una clave de lectura, útil para futuras agendas de investigación, de aquellas producciones en la que se cruzan la historia de la ciencia y la del peronismo, proveniente tanto de la historiografía profesional como de las historias disciplinares muchas veces ensayadas por la propia comunidad científica. Estas investigaciones cubren una multitud de temáticas, pero por motivos de espacio y enfoque, nos concentraremos aquí principalmente en aquellas disciplinas que, a grandes rasgos, podríamos englobar dentro de las “ciencias exactas y naturales” y las ingenierías. A partir de estas consideraciones, resulta posible observar que este campo de estudio aún reproduce un conjunto de estereotipos que limitan el conocimiento histórico sobre el período, tanto en lo que respecta a la inserción del peronismo en una lectura de largo plazo de las políticas de Estado en ciencia y tecnología, como en su inserción en la historia de la universidad en la Argentina.

This research is part of a larger study aimed at reconstructing the various ways in which professional historiography and other non-academic historical discourses have dealt with the relationship between Science and Peronism in contemporary Argentina. The purpose of this study is to analyze the overly simplistic image of this relationship that still persists in social memory and, to a large extent, continues to influence historical research agendas and the more general political debate. The article provides a bibliographic review and offers a reading key, useful for future research agendas, in which the history of science and that of Peronism intersects, coming from both professional historiography and of the disciplinary histories many times rehearsed by the scientific community itself. These investigations cover a multitude of topics, but for reasons of space and focus, we will focus here mainly on those disciplines that, broadly speaking, we could encompass within the “exact and natural sciences” and engineering. Based on these considerations, it is possible to observe that this field of study still reproduces a set of stereotypes that limit historical knowledge about the period, both with regard to the insertion of Peronism in a long-term reading of state policies in science and technology, as in its insertion in the history of the university in Argentina.

Можно отметить, что в данной области исследований по-прежнему воспроизводится набор стереотипов, к оторые ограничивают исторические знания о том периоде как в отношении включения перонизма в долгосроч ное прочтение государственной политики в области науки и техники, так и его включения в историю универси тета в Аргентине.
