Juventud y Partido Socialista de los Trabajadores: experiencias de organización juvenil en el trotskismo argentino, 1972-1982

Abstract

En la historiografía argentina, el estudio de frentes o agrupaciones juveniles de los partidos políticos en general y la izquierda en particular han sido poco explorados. Habitualmente estos son leídos en tanto parte del conjunto sin atender a sus dinámicas específicas de conformación y despliegues y sin considerar la singularidad que asume un espacio c uyos contornos se delinean en clave generacional. Con el objetivo de reflexionar en esta línea, el artículo aborda la dinámica que adquirió la Juventud Socialista de Avanzada, agrupación que nació articulada al Partido Socialista de los Trabajadores, pero con ciertos rasgos de autonomía. Indaga en las relaciones entre ambas instancias políticas ya que es posible advertir que la creación de la Juventud fue en paralelo y acompañó a la conformación del espacio partidario. Asimismo, analizamos los momentos de flujo y reflujo de la organización juvenil trotskista, cambios en sus posicionamientos y reconfiguración luego del golpe de estado de 1976 y hasta finales de la última dictadura.

In Argentine historiography, the study of youth fronts or groups of political parties in general and the left in particular have been little explored. Usually these are read as part of the general set without attending to their specific dynamics of conformation and deployments and without considering the singularity that a space assumes whose contours are outlined in a generational key. With the aim of reflecting in this line, the article addresses the dynamics acquired by the Advanced Socialist Youth, a organization that was born articulated to the Socialist Workers Party, but with certain features of autonomy. It investigates the relations between both political instances since it is possible to notice that the creation of the Youth was in parallel and accompanied the conformation of the party space. Likewise, we analyze the ebb and flow moments of the Trotskyist youth organization, changes in their positions and reconfiguration after the 1976 coup and until the end of the last dictatorship.
