Tiempo histórico y formas de la narración

Abstract

En este trabajo me propongo analizar las formas narrativas estableciendo vínculos con los cambios históricos que se produjeron en las últimas décadas del siglo XX. En la primera parte presento el tema a través de una lectura de dos capítulos de La mala memoria, de Heberto Padilla. En la segunda, vinculo ciertas estructuras narrativas de ese texto (principalmente el registro memorialístico y la tendencia a realizar prolepsis) con el tiempo de la modernidad en tanto estructurado por la revolución comunista. En la tercera y cuarta parte analizo algunos ensayos de Iván de la Nuez y vinculo las formas estilísticas que utiliza con la caída del muro de Berlín y la disolución de la URSS. Al final propongo algunas reflexiones sintéticas sobre los estilos de Michel Onfray, Nicolás Casullo y César Aira junto con algunas reflexiones metodológicas sobre la importancia del formalismo en la crítica literaria.

In this work I propose to analyze narrative forms establishing links with the historical changes that occurred in the last decades of the 20th century. In the first part I present the subject through a reading of two chapters of La mala memoria, by Heberto Padilla. In the second, I link certain narrative structures of that text (mainly the memorial register and the use of prolepsis by Padilla) with the time of modernity as structured by the communist revolution. In the third and fourth part I analyze some essays by Iván de la Nuez and link the stylistic forms he uses with the fall of the Berlin Wall and the dissolution of the USSR. At the end I propose some synthetic reflections on the styles of Michel Onfray, Nicolás Casullo and César Aira and some methodological reflections on the importance of formalism in literary criticism.
